Therapist Connecticut

Therapy for anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and stressful life events using Accelerated Resolution Therapy

You’ve been looking for a therapist in Connecticut.

Your life feels like a mess, full of anxiety and panic. Your brain is on a loop and replays the past event or trauma that haunts you, leaving you feeling out of control. It's like you could crumble at any moment. You find yourself anticipating the next time a panic attack or a nightmare will ruin your day. You miss the days when you were positive about life, happy and at ease.

Anxiety, Trauma, Grief & Loss Have Taken Over

Now you feel afraid of things that used to be part of your everyday life. It's as if your mind and body have been hijacked. Your mind is filled with worries and self-doubt, and you no longer feel like you have much control over your body. You often feel jumpy, restless, irritable, on edge, and you're frustrated with your brain for replaying what happened over and over. You would give anything to not think about it ever again and to erase those images. You want to find a therapist who can help you get back to yourself and back to your life as quickly as possible.

You are ready for a real change through therapy, because you are tired of living this way and would give anything to wave a magic wand and erase what happened and restore yourself back to who you were.

Jennifer Laptew Williams, Trauma Therapist in Groton, CT Specializing in Anxiety and Trauma

My name is Jennifer, a trauma therapist in Connecticut

As a trauma therapist and Certified Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapist, I help clients struggling to overcome anxiety and trauma or stressful life events. It might seem too good to be true, but most of my clients experience relief from their anxiety and panic by the end of our first Accelerated Resolution Therapy session.

Trauma Therapist, CT with rapid results

You will start out with a 55-minute ART intake where we will get really clear on what outcomes you are looking to achieve by the end of our work together. Best of all, you can share as much or as little of the details of the stressful event that you feel comfortable. After the ART intake is complete, we will transition into the ART session which lasts about 1 hour. The intake and ART session can be scheduled on the same day for your convenience. Client’s describe their ART sessions as feeling fast relief in a comforting space and leave feeling happier and more hopeful. We will continue with sessions until you are symptom free, and you feel like yourself again.
