Your life feels like a mess, full of anxiety and panic. Your brain is on a loop, replaying the traumatic event that haunts you, leaving you feeling out of control. It’s like you could crumble at any moment. You find yourself anticipating the next time a panic attack or nightmare will trigger you and ruin your day. You miss the time when you felt positive about life, happy, and at ease.

Symptoms of PTSD and How Therapy Helps

Now you feel afraid of things that used to be part of your everyday life. It's as if your mind and body have been hijacked. Your mind is filled with worries and self-doubt, and you no longer feel like you have much control over your body. You often feel jumpy, restless, irritable, on edge, and you're frustrated with your brain for replaying what happened over and over.

You would give anything to not think about it ever again and to erase those images. You want to find a therapist who can help you get back to yourself and back to your life as quickly as possible.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for Trauma Treatment

Why Accelerated Resolution Therapy Works Faster than Traditional Talk Therapy

You are ready for a real change through therapy, because you are tired of living this way and would give anything to wave a magic wand and erase what happened and restore yourself back to who you were.

What to Expect in Your First ART Session

As a Certified Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapist in Connecticut, I help clients struggling with stress disorders, trauma, anxiety, or grief. Most people experience relief from panic and PTSD symptoms by the end of their first Accelerated Resolution Therapy session.

You’ll begin with a 55-minute ART intake, where we clarify the outcomes you want. You may share as much or as little of your traumatic event as you feel comfortable. After intake, we move into the ART session (about 1 hour). Many clients describe this counseling process as fast, compassionate, and deeply effective, often finding relief within 1–5 sessions.

How Trauma Therapy Can Help You Find Relief

Accelerated Resolution Therapy vs. Traditional Talk Therapy

Unlike traditional talk therapy, ART helps both the brain and body resolve traumatic experiences more quickly. Clients often report feeling lighter, calmer, and more in control after just a few sessions.
